It could help as a promotional tool to spark more interest in the series for those who haven't bought the game yet. So, it's my belief that this OVA is a side-story that's meant to further expand what happens GV and co are up behind the scenes.Īnd even if it is a OVA about the first game, that's also good.
We may also get a bit more backstory on GV's past, going by the casual and younger look GV's sporting while speaking to Asimov in the trailer. Based on the images, it will possibly explore how Joule and GV adjusted to living together, show us what led up to him being captured by the perverted interrogator, and what other assignments GV did for Quill both before and after he officially resigned that hasn't been covered by the short stories, Drama CDs and the like.
